The purpose of this blog is to act as a spotlight upon the problems occurring in the Diocese of Las Vegas. The devil operates freely in the shadows, but when the light of Christ shines upon him, he will flee. To this end, the activities and news in our Diocese should be made available to the faithful, along with an opportunity to collectively pray for our Bishop, priests and the Diocese in general. I will try to include a Call to Prayer on each blog post whenever I can - prayer and transparency are our best weapons.
This is not merely a rumor and gossip blog. I investigate first hand whenever possible, and do not publish anything without reliable corroboration. I will try to leave my opinion and commentary out of it as much as possible and just present the facts to you, the Catholic faithful of Las Vegas and Henderson.
I am one of the Church Militant. And so are you. It's time to join in prayer to do battle against the Enemy.
St. Michael, pray for us.
Call to Prayer:
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
